It is all possible!

When Dreams Become Reality

Cody grew up playing in the yard of his dad’s business, A&D Tree Services. He loved the trucks, machinery and being outdoors. When he was three, he took the quote book to preschool with him – a story his former preschool teacher loves reminding him about now that he is the Owner/Director of the business.

He still loves the variety of the job too:

“No two days are the same and I’m not the type who likes to be stuck in an office. I like the thrill of the work, I still love using the plant and equipment, the comradery and the problem solving when faced with challenging tasks.”

Qualified Arborists are in high demand in the Shoalhaven for both domestic and commercial jobs and Cody is actively recruiting across the three areas of the business; tree felling/trimming, land clearing and mulch/firewood:

“We need crews of 3 across all areas to keep up with demand. We can provide training to those eager to learn but a chainsaw certificate and truck license are required at minimum,” added Cody.

Dylan started with the business as a trainee 10 years ago and has worked his way up to being Manager. Dylan has achieved Level 3 arborist qualifications, as well as first aid training and is a good example of the opportunities that exist to grow with the business.

A&D Services has invested significantly in plant and equipment that’s not only enjoyable to use but takes out some of the more physically challenging aspects of the job. This means the work is safer and the team aren’t so exhausted by the weekend that they can’t enjoy time with family and the beautiful South Coast.
