Featured employer spotlight: Macey’s annual charity golf day celebrates 10 years

The annual ‘Macey Insurance Brokers Charity Golf Day’ in partnership with Shoalhaven Business Chamber, has raised more than $120,000 for local organisations since its inception in 2013.

The most recent event in November 2023, which marked its 10th anniversary, saw $17, 164.19 raised for 3 local charities – with the Macey team playing an important role on the day.

Registrations for the charity golf day were in such high demand that they were nearly sold out within 72 hours of their release.

Funds raised were shared between Salt Care, The Bearded Fisherman and the William Campbell Foundation following an EOI process.

“The business community coming together for a good cause is a highlight on our annual calendar,” said Jemma Tribe, President of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber.

“Even when times are tough there are still business owners who continue to put their hand in their pockets for those in need and that’s great to see,” said Macey Insurance Brokers Director Brendan Goddard.

“I am really proud to be part of an event that has raised so much money for so many local charities in our area.” He added.

Living in and contributing to the local community is an important Employment Value Proposition for Maceys.
