TAFE Illawarra and South Coast TAFE NSW offers comprehensive vocational education and training at its campuses throughout the South Coast.

With four campuses in Batemans Bay, Moruya, Nowra and Ulladulla, there are accessible learning opportunities throughout the region.



The TAFE NSW Nowra campus sits on the lands of the Dharawal people.

The TAFE Nowra campus in located among the picturesque landscapes of the South Coast’s rural heartland in the Shoalhaven area of southern NSW. We provide a wide array of courses in trade, manufacturing and human services.

The campus boasts a library, spacious tourism and hospitality training facilities, children’s services, aged care, nursing and welfare training facilities. TAFE NSW Nowra also offers computer rooms for information technology training. Additionally, our Aboriginal Cultural Arts Program encourages student engagement within the Shoalhaven community.


The TAFE NSW Ulladulla Campus sits on the lands of the Murramurang people.

Located near the stunning beaches and harbours of the Illawarra region, our Ulladulla campus offers students the opportunity to experience the vibrant coastal village life. Servicing the southern Shoalhaven area, from Sussex Inlet in the north to beautiful Kioloa in the south, it’s perfectly located.

Our campus has earned a solid reputation for delivering quality education in aged care, beauty, home and community care, business services, horticulture, conservation and land management, as well as providing skills for vocational pathways.


The TAFE NSW Bateman’s Bay Connected Learning Centre (CLC) is situated on the traditional lands of the Walbunja people of the Yuin nation. The Walbunja name for the bay is Yangary. Bateman’s Bay is close to surf beaches and the Budawang, Monga and Deua National Parks. The TAFE NSW Bateman’s Bay CLC shares the same precinct as the local library and the University of Wollongong Bateman’s Bay campus. Courses on offer are varied and include business studies, children’s services, community services and health.

The campus provides local students with personalised learning experiences, access to teachers on site as well as by video, and simulated work environments. Hundreds of additional courses are made possible by virtual classrooms, off campus and online.


The TAFE NSW Moruya campus is situated on the traditional lands of the Brinja-Yuin people.

Surrounded by idyllic farmland and overlooking a picturesque pond and rose garden, the campus is located south of the Moruya township. The campus is situated close to pristine beaches, in a peaceful rural setting. There is parking available on campus and public transport is nearby.

TAFE NSW Moruya offers a wide range of education and training that meets community and career needs. Specialties include courses commercial cookery, building and construction, animal studies and horticulture. There is also a range of offerings in hairdressing, beauty and children’s services. The Moruya campus is a relaxed environment for students in the south coast region of NSW, with a focus on excellence. Students can access literacy and numeracy support, as well as programs such as Career Preparation and Tertiary Preparation Certificate (equivalent to Year 12).
