At Hotondo South Coast, we are committed to not only providing homes of the highest quality but ensuring that our customer’s experience is exceptional throughout the entire building process.  From the time they walk through one of our display homes, or pick up the phone to make that initial enquiry, their first engagement with the Sales team, is the start of their home building journey.

As a Sales Consultant with Hotondo South Coast, you are responsible for creating a flawless and highly enjoyable experience for our customers seeking to build their dream home. A fast and dynamic environment, the following are key responsibilities of this critical role;

  • Engage with and maintain strong relationships with developers and real estate to identify land releases - Price land and home packages for market competitiveness and collaborate with the marketing team in their promotion
  • Respond to initial customer enquiries within a 24hour period, educating and nurturing the customer to move them to their first appointment
  • Conduct customer appointments, discussing home build requirements and transitioning the customer through to their commitment to build with Hotondo South Coast
  • Conduct customer appointments with the drafting team and builder, providing support and consultation to the customer in the creation through to sign off of their new home plans
  • Work with the estimating team to nurture and educate the customer through the estimation and tender management stage supporting and managing them through any changes to their build
  • Manage a portfolio of customers through to building contract completion, ensuring the customer database and files are kept up to date at all times
  • Manage the display homes, ensuring they remain clean and presentable at all times


The following skills and attributes are most suitable for this critical role;

  • Experience in new homes sales or real estate sales is preferred, but applicants who can demonstrate strong sales skills in other industries are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated ability to influence customers through the sales process
  • Positive, collaborative team member
  • High levels of accountability and ownership of role
  • Warm, engaging and people focused
  • Effective communicator with open listening skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
