A critical position within A&D Tree Services, you’ll be part of the supervisory arborist team, ensuring jobs are delivered to client expectations and teams are kept safe.

Servicing the regions of the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and Southern Highlands, you’ll lead a crew of three attending to the care of trees and shrubs for clients ranging from residential to government and commercial.

With no two days or views the same, as a Team Supervisor your key position requirements will include;

  • Effectively leading your crew members to ensure the safety of yourself and each other adhering and enforcing all WH&S safety procedures.
  • Collaborating with the Team Leader to understand the requirements of an allocated job and how it is to be managed.
  • Leading, directing and delegating crew members on jobs taking into account their level of experience and capability, and ensuring the team is focused and performing well.
  • Liasing with and managing client expectations on job sites as required, ensuring site safety
  • Leading your crew to uphold A&D’s values, with a positive attitude to accept any challenge, delivering a professional service to ensure the team are proud of their work and leading the team to work effectively together and with the other Arborist crews.
  • Undertaking tree maintenance works in accordance with industry best practices, operating and maintaining machinery, vehicles and gear.
  • Leading your team by example to maintain tidy job sites with no waste left behind.
  • Loading firewood and mulch and delivering as required.

 

Arborist Team Supervisors who join the A&D team will not be afraid to get in and give it a go and hold the following essential criteria and experience;

  • Cert III in arboriculture with suitable experience
  • Previous leadership experience whilst preferred is not essential
  • Strong communication skills with an interest in leading a team to perform at it’s best
  • A passion for working in a team environment
  • Commitment to working in a safe manager and ensuring the safety of others
  • Comfortable managing clients, with strong customer service skills
  • Be happy to accept any challenge and thrive on training junior Arborists
  • HR Drivers Licence (preferred)
  • Construction Induction Card (must have)
  • EWP License
  • Wood Chipper, stump grinding and chain saw competency
  • Able to undertake manual/physical work
