“I’ve aimed to bring a fresh perspective to new home sales and to challenge norms, particularly as a young woman in the building industry,” she explains. “I’m now more involved in guiding clients through their journey, while building strong, trusting relationships and supporting them in creating their dream home or investment.”
Shya credits her rapid development to the culture of support within the South Coast team:
“When I first stepped into this role, I didn’t have much experience in the industry, but the team saw potential in me and really invested their time to help me develop. The support I received gave me the confidence to step into situations I might not have been ready for on my own. That environment not only accelerated my growth but also showed me the value of having leaders and colleagues who genuinely want to see you succeed.”
For Shya, the most rewarding part of her journey has been seeing her growth firsthand.
“When I first started, I didn’t have a lot of experience, but with the support and guidance I received, I’ve been able to take on responsibilities I never imagined I could. On a personal level, I feel incredibly grateful that I get to live my dream – guiding people through one of life’s biggest decisions with honesty, transparency, and care.”
